21st Century Community Learning Center
We are proud to offer a wonderful opportunity for students and parents at Butte View Elementary and Kenneth J. Carberry Intermediate schools, to participate in the Before and After School program. As a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant recipient we can now offer this opportunity at NO COST to families.
Before School Program offers academic assistance and tutoring to students starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 8:30 a.m., when students are dismissed for breakfast. This is an exceptional opportunity for students in need of academic help. Groups are small in numbers which allows one-on-one time with a licensed teacher.
After School Program begins each day with a snack and light physical activity. Students then rotate in 1/2 hour blocks of homework and tutoring assistance with a licensed teacher, Life Skills Groups, and Enrichment Activities. We end each day with outdoor sports (weather permitting) or fun games.
Our community supporters and partners are the Gem County Recreational District, Idaho Extension 4-H, Emmett School District Gear Up Program, and Emmett High School Honor Society.
If you are interested in having your child participate please contact Amanda Gosse at Butte View Elementary 365-4691 or inform your student's homeroom teacher.
